Access to mental health care remains uneven across Europe, particularly for people in vulnerable situations who face structural, social, and systemic barriers to support. This webinar brings together research, practice, and lived experience to examine how access to care can be improved through equitable, community-based approaches. Drawing on findings from the EQUICARES project and the EU Social Prescribing initiative, speakers will explore key barriers and facilitators to mental health care access, the role of social prescribing in reaching people in vulnerable situations, and opportunities for integration across mental health, primary care, and community services.
